A Portable Building means any building which does not exceed 300 square feet in size, and which has its own floor and is not built on a concrete or concrete block foundation.

No portable building shall be moved into the South Hutchinson Zoning Jurisdiction before the owner thereof shall have first submitted a site plan therefor to the Building Inspector for the city and such site plan has been approved by the Building Inspector. Such site plan shall show all property boundaries, all existing structures on the property, all overhead electrical lines, and any other feature of the property deemed relevant by the Building Inspector.

All portable buildings shall meet all engineering requirements for attaching the building to the ground as follows:

Anchors shall be located near the corners of the portable building and all anchors shall be attached to the portable building with a strap or cable having a minimum capacity of at least 800 lbs.

A final inspection by the Building Inspector is hereby required for the purpose of ensuring tie down strength and procedure.

It shall be unlawful for any person to move or cause to be moved any used portable building into the South Hutchinson Zoning Jurisdiction without first having obtained a permit therefor by the Building Inspector and all such buildings shall meet all code requirements of the City of South Hutchinson, Kansas and shall be inspected by the Building Inspector before said building is moved into the city.

The following fees shall be paid to the City pertaining to portable buildings as follows:
Site Plan - $10.00
Final Inspection - $10.00
Moving Inspection for Used Buildings - $30.00
