The International Building Code, 2012 Edition, as published by the International Code Council including appendix chapters J & M is hereby adopted and incorporated by reference as the Building Code of the City of South Hutchinson, Kansas; for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said International Building Code, are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this article, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in this article. Such incorporation is authorized by K.S.A. 12-3009 through K.S.A. 12-3012 inclusive, and K.S.A. 12-3301 and K.S.A. 12-3302, all as amended. No fewer than three (3) copies of said International Building Code shall be marked or stamped “Official Copy as incorporated by the code of the City of South Hutchinson, Kansas,” with all sections or portions thereof intended to be omitted or changed clearly marked to show any such omission or change and to which shall be attached a copy of this article, and filed with the City Clerk to be open to inspection and to be available to the public at all reasonable business hours.

The following sections of the International Building Code, 2012 Edition, are hereby amended as follows:

Section 101.1. Insert the City of South Hutchinson, Kansas.

Section 1612.3. Insert the City of South Hutchinson, Kansas.

Section 1612.3. Insert the City of South Hutchinson, Kansas and March 6, 2001.

Section 3410.2. Insert the effective date of Ordinance No. 14-842 (December 14, 2014).
