The National Electrical Code, 2014 Edition, “NFPA 70” as adopted by the National Fire Protection Association, Inc., and published by the National Fire Protection Association, be and is hereby adopted and incorporated by reference as the Electrical Code of the City of South Hutchinson, Kansas; for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of the said Electrical Code, 2014 Edition, are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this article or the adopting ordinance, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed herein. Such incorporation is authorized by K.S.A. 12-3009 through K.S.A. 12-3012 inclusive, and K.S.A. 12-3301 and K.S.A. 12-3302, all as amended. No fewer than three copies of said National Electrical Code, 2014 Edition, as adopted and published by the National Fire Protection Association, Inc., shall be marked or stamped “Official Copy, as incorporated by the Code of the City of South Hutchinson, Kansas,” and all sections or portions thereof intended to be omitted or changed clearly marked to show any such omission or change and to which shall be attached a copy of this article or said ordinance and filed with the City Clerk to be open for inspection and to be available to the public at all reasonable business hours.
