A CHARTER ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE CITY OF SOUTH HUTCHINSON, KANSAS, FROM THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-4112 SO AS TO AUTHORIZE THE ASSESSMENT OF COURT COSTS IN THE MUNICIPAL COURT.

SECTION 1. That the City of South Hutchinson, Kansas, a city of the third class who by virtue of the power vested in it by Article 12, Section 5, of the constitution of the State of Kansas hereby elects to exempt itself and does hereby exempt itself from the provisions of K.S.A. 12-4112, and makes the statute inapplicable to the city, insofar as the statute prohibits the assessment of court costs in the municipal court.

SECTION 2. There is hereby established a cost of $15 to be assessed against each person convicted in the South Hutchinson Municipal Court of any violation of the South Hutchinson Code except for parking violations other than a charge alleging violation of a regulation relating to handicapped parking.
